This is a crisp, ender-textured lettuce that is excellent for your salads. Parris Island is a Cos (Romaine) variety. A very uniform cylindrical plant. Dark green outer leaves with a pale green to cream interior leaves. The upright growth habit keeps leaves clean of soil. Prefers cool weather, so early spring and fall crops are possible. A good choice for your garden. Planting every 2 weeks during growing times.
