Nesbitt's brand debuted in 1927, as part of the Nesbitt's Fruit Products Company line of soda fountain products. It was soon known as the market leader of orange pop and is well known as one of the most iconic soda brands from the 1940's and 1950's. Another claim to fame was their uses of a little know model named Marilyn Monroe in their advertising. They started bottling it in 1938-39 and the brand was franchised to independent bottling companies all over the United States and around the world.
